Meet KAren JArchow
Founder of Vail Valley RIDE | PR Professional | Certified Kriya Teacher | Certified Transitions Intelligence (TQ) Coach | Forever Endurance Junkie
I’ve spent the last two decades exploring what it means to live fully—through the body, the breath, and the humbling work of being human.
My path began in the classroom, studying Sports Medicine, Human Physiology, and Sports Psychology. Curiosity eventually pulled me west to the mountains, where my education became embodied—on long rides, in thin alpine air, and ultimately through a professional racing career.
Along the way, I founded Vail Valley RIDE, a mountain bike camp that teaches kids the bike is more than a sport—it’s a tool for confidence, community, and holistic health. I also stepped into leadership roles in marketing and PR for leading outdoor brands, where I translated my love of sport into storytelling, brand building, and community connection. Yet even at the height of achievement, I felt a deeper pull: to understand why we strive, how we grow, and what it truly means to feel whole.
That call led me into new terrain—the study of energy and holistic psychology. A pivotal guide in this chapter has been Dr. Erica Matluck of Experience Seven Senses, whose mentorship shaped my personal healing and expanded my professional path.
I went on to train as a Certified Kriya Teacher (via Kia Miller), a Transitions Intelligence Coach (through Modern Elder Academy), and completed intensive coaching training with the Co-Active Training Institute. These tools—combined with my lived experience as an athlete, educator, and leader—now shape the work I do today.
Through KJ Coaching, I support individuals, brands, and athletes in reconnecting with themselves through movement, mindfulness, and intentional alignment. My philosophy is simple: performance isn’t just physical—it’s also mental, emotional, and spiritual. Whether guiding a breath session, coaching through a life transition, or helping a new product launch into the world, my goal is the same: to help you find clarity, ease, and alignment with your efforts.
When I’m not coaching or mentoring, you’ll find me running Vail Valley RIDE camps or chasing my own version of freedom—often on two wheels, always close to nature.
